The ancient centre is so compact that you’ll probably stumble across the things you want to see anyway.

Of course, there are some must see sights for every visitor. You won’t want to miss the Colisseum, the scene of gory battles between gladiators, slaves and wild animals. Head up to the highest rows for awesome views. The Forum is nearby.
