High up in the breathtaking Pyrenees in Andorra, at above 2400 metres, Pas de la Casa is the highest resort in this tiny principality, and falls within the massive Grandvalira ski area near the French border. It’s a particularly good destination for novice and intermediate skiers, with a high number of red runs.

With its fantastic snow record, and modern, high speed lift system, Pas represents great value for money, and enjoys tax-free status. You’ll also find a good range of accommodation here, much of it handily located just minutes from the ski lifts, of which there are 31 in all.

Even before it linked up with the network of runs in the neighbouring area of Soldeu, Pas represented Andorra’s ski largest ski-ing area and its highest lift-served terrain. Now you can ski over a total of 186km of runs, enough to rival most Alpine resorts and covering about 10% of all of Andorra. If you’re a snow boarder, you’ll also be well-catered for, with access to a board park and half pipe.
