With its combination of picture-postcard village, legendary partying and superlative ski-ing, Méribel has something to offer everyone. There’s so much going on, both up the hill and after you’ve taken your skis and boots off, that you’ll easily find plenty to enjoy.

Sandwiched between Courchevel and Val Thorens, Méribel is the perfect place from which to ski France’s Three Valleys – one of the world’s largest ski areas. It provides ski to your door convenience, along with magnificent views.

It may have expanded hugely in recent years, but strict building rules have kept Méribel picturesque. The hub of the resort, where most of the shops and bars are found, is Meribel 1450 and not Meribel Village - this is actually a modern satellite of the town itself. Meribel-Mottaret is another, further up the hill.

The Méribel valley has 150km of pistes, served by superbly efficient lifts, including 15 telecabines and seven high-speed six-seater chairs. It is an ideal playground for skiers of all abilities, with a good distribution of green, blue, red and black runs.
