Quite possibly the most famous city in the world, Rome is the capital of Italy. It is both a monument to the past and a vibrant modern city. The cuisine on offer in Rome ranges from the expected pizza and pasta to traditional Italian meals as well as fast food and international dishes. Some of the more upmarket restaurants tend to have long waits for a table, especially in places popular with the celebrity crowd.
There is plenty to see in Rome; from Roman Empire structures likes The Colosseum, The Pantheon, Circus Maximus, to museums - The Capitoline Museums, Palazzo Massimo Vatican Museum, plentiful of churches to public squares.
